Back during the early 2000’s I think Dan and I were the only two Spartan fans in all of southeast Michigan. Rest in Peace, Sarge.
Wanted to thank D Mac for showing love. So here’s my take ; no cameras, no publicity. Just another human being, no matter his/her name and no matter his/her profession that legitimately had a real realationship with O’Connor. Another human that met O’Connor and fell in love with him. Might’ve known Dan just a short time but instantly loved and appreciated him. We were the lucky ones. We had O’Conner, albeit too short, to love and appreciate. Thank you for your service Sgt. O’Connor. Thank you just as much for your friendship. You were one of a kind Face. Meow.
Such a heartfelt and down to earth tribute to my cousin and friend. Thank you, Darren.
Dan was the est dude I’ve ever known.
Thank you Darren for showing up at the funeral home. Dave and Connie Talo. I did not speak to you personally I did notice you. Thank you so much keep Daniel in our hearts.
Thank you Darren for your support. It was great seeing you at the funeral home even though I didn’t speak to you. Dave and Connie Talo. 💔
Yes. Thank you Darren for your support and friendship of my nephew. Our family are some of your biggest fans. So grateful that Danny got to know you.
This is Mary Dan O’Connor mom. I was so proud of my son! My heart hurts. I am not suppose to bury my son. Darren is was such a pleasure to meet you and hear how much my son touched your life! I will be forever grateful for your kind words. It makes me as his mother know that I got more right than wrong in raising him. All my children our loving caring people as am I. It’s all about life and being a friend to people and doing whatever I can to help others. My children picked up on that! Dan has been through so much yet persevered and helped anyone I mean anyone! He gave me more than I could have ever hoped for. I hope he knows I am with his wife and girls and will take care of them! He gave me three of the greatest gift ever! I feel him watching over me and guiding me with love! Peace

Sorry for your loss. Great way to pay tribute to your friend.
In a world that needs a few heroes, Dan’s passing leaves a huge void. Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge this amazing dude.
Don’t mourn the loss, celebrate the life and how important he was to sooo many people.
